What Your Partner is Actually Saying: Cracking the Code of Communication in Marriage After Betrayal
Communication in marriage often breaks down after disclosure of addiction or other betrayal. This presentation will discuss how the principles of vulnerability, empathy, and compassion can aid in the process of re-establishing trust and communication in the process of healing. Learning to see below the surface and understanding how shame may be involved in communication can empower couples to create new space in their relationship and rebuild healthy patterns of interaction.
