I have truly been blessed to have jnoeid a church in Katy (the Fellowship at Cinco Ranch) that has openly supported my recovery even to the point of funding my recovery group, Castimonia. It was truly a God thing that my wife and I attended the church on Father’s Day 2008. When I entered recovery in the Spring of 2009, the lead pastor, Dr. Jerry Edmonson was the first person I went to and he understood me and my problem. To be broken, and not have to hide it from others around me in church is a beautiful place to be!
Will it be appropriate to bring a 12 & 13 yo? Are students free?
Yes, it would be a great opportunity for younger teens to learn about this important issue, especially if they come with parents so they can discuss it after. Thanks for asking!
