Breakout Session 1 Speakers

  • Speaker

    Jesse Stone

He’s a husband and father of three — his greatest titles by far. Back in college, he was all in on baseball — working hard, competing with hear, he won a National Championship and was inducted in the Utah Tech University Athletic Hall of Fame. But behind the talent and notoriety, he was suffering with addiction. For years, drugs and other addictions had a grip on him, even when it didn’t look that way on the outside. Things took a turn when he hit the bottom, finally admitting he couldn’t fight it alone. He spent years in and out of jail and rehab, until He turned toward faith, recovery, and the Savior’s grace, and began rebuilding life on a new foundation. Professionally, Jesse has always been involved with creating entertaining and fun experiences. He’s traveled the world building Ice Castles creating magical winter environments. He founded a slip n slide festival that traveled to ski resorts in the summer and now his current company he started, DroneShow.com, he’s helped produce spectacular drone shows that light up the sky and lift spirits all over the country. However, these ventures aren’t just businesses to him — they are opportunities to build something meaningful, to serve other, and to create joy and happiness in all communities. Now, he’s serving as a 12 step missionary in the LDS community, in the LDS 12 Step Addiction Recovery Program reaching out to those still caught in addiction. He uses his own story — the failures, the redemption, the hope — to help others see they’re not alone, that change is real, and that through Jesus Christ, He can make all things new.
