UCAP Messages of Hope

Our exceptional UCAP speakers would like to share messages of hope with you during this stressful time.  We recognize that many families are increasingly impacted by the harmful effects of pornography while spending more time at home.  Watch this spot for more upcoming video messages from our conference speakers.

UCAP on the Radio

UCAP’s executive director, Laurel Arnold, recently participated in a radio interview with Rebecca Cressman, host of the Utah Weekly Forum on FM 100.3.  Though the upcoming UCAP conference has now been postponed, Laurel and Rebecca had a relevant conversation on the impact of pornography, the importance of education, and what can be done to protect children.  Enjoy listening to what they had to say.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the UCAP Salt Lake City 2020 Conference

Updated March 16, 2020

The UCAP board has agreed that rather than doing a virtual version of the conference, we would like to host the same conference we have planned, once the crisis has passed.  The timing remains to be seen, but we would like to invite all of you to attend the rescheduled conference, whenever that might be. We are sorry for the inconvenience. As everyone is, we are hoping to see the world get back to normal soon.  We will begin processing full refunds for conference registrations over the next few days.

Updated March 12, 2020

Today Utah’s governor, Gary Herbert, recommended that all gatherings of more than 100 people be suspended for the next two weeks. As of now the UCAP conference is postoned. Check back here for more details.
Updated March 5, 2020

The UCAP Board of Directors is closely monitoring the developing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We are thoughtfully considering various scenarios that may unfold between now and the conference date.

UCAP is committed to the health and safety of our members, partners, and event attendees, as well as to making decisions based on available evidence and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and the Utah COVID-19 Community Task Force.

We will post updates to this site as new information becomes available, including a list of onsite measures UCAP is planning for a healthier conference, and how attendees can help.

Please check back regularly for updated information about UCAP SLC 2020.
