“CHOOSE IN” to Saving YOU: Healing the Trauma of Betrayal

Roxanne Kennedy-Granata

You’ve experienced the shock of a family member’s addiction. The anxiety and trauma that come from being betrayed, manipulated, and deceived have caused chaos and pain that you now have to navigate. In this class we will talk through the tools and practices vital to seeing clearly how “choosing you” will set you on the path to healing and happiness. This class is for all sufferers: those new to betrayal, as well as those who have been dealing with this for years and need some new insight and wisdom to overcome feeling stuck in their own cycle of pain. Whether you are fighting for a marriage, divorced from a struggling addict, or a parent of an addicted child, where there has been trauma there is also healing.

Roxanne Kennedy-Granata is the author of Cutting Ties: Healing from Betrayal Trauma as the Spouse of an Addict. She is the host of the Choose In podcast, and is a mentor for those navigating the healing path of betrayal trauma. With thousands of hours of study, counseling, 12-step programs, and guiding others, Roxanne is a trusted advisor in this field as she is a survivor of betrayal, infidelity, trauma, and emotional abuse. She has continuously done her own work to see clearly the manipulation, deceit, and lies that came from being the spouse of an addict.

Coming to awareness in February 2012 of how addiction was infecting her marriage, she made a commitment that day to accept the truth and do everything necessary to learn, grow, and change so she could become an advocate for others as they came upon this devasting truth in their lives. She chose in to recovery and healing, and through her work she teaches others how to get through the trauma and pain, and on the other side to peace and happiness.
