The Truth Will Set You Free: Formal Disclosure 101
Geoff Steurer
Pornography use breeds secrecy and hiding, which fuels shame and ultimately undermines trust and safety in committed relationships. Disclosing these secrets is a critical step in healing both individually and relationally. However, disclosure is often done haphazardly without structure and support, further hampering the recovery process. In this presentation, Geoff will present a rationale for formal therapeutic disclosure and how it benefits both the disclosing individual and their betrayed partner. He will also identify key factors to help structure and facilitate a successful formal disclosure.
