Speaker Biographies


Christy Kane

Christy Kane

Christy Kane PsyD, PhD, CMHC, has over 20 years of experience leading and guiding in mental health. Christy Kane is a sought-after presenter and author who focuses her work on neurology, mental health stability, and how electronics are affecting the human brain.

She has served in a variety of roles that contribute to her extensive mental health knowledge and expertise in the field of Psychology. As a former owner and Clinical Director of two residential treatment centers, Christy has helped youth learn the skills necessary to effectively contribute to society, manage their mental health, and make positive changes in their lives. Christy also owns an outpatient clinic where she provided counseling services.

From parent nights at local schools to TEDx talks, and from national conferences to local intervention with companies, Christy is a coveted advisor in the area of mental health. Christy knows that corporations, schools, and families are facing mental health challenges.

Smith Alley

Smith Alley

Smith Alley is a young speaker and advocate against the harmful effects of pornography and social media. Through the efforts of his nonprofit foundation, The Live Life Bigger Foundation, and his for profit video workshop company, Protecht Strong, he hopes to inspire youth to step into their potential and provide resources to parents and families in need.

Smith is a self-proclaimed Ramen Connoisseur, avid motorcycle lover, and an amateur uncle. When he’s not at school or lacrosse, you can find him camping under the stars or riding his motorcycle through the mountains. Jeff Ford

Jeff Ford

Jeff received his BS in Psychology from the University of Utah and his MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Jeff is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. He has contributed to the field by publishing articles about the practice of marriage and family therapy and regularly speaks throughout the community on the topics of pornography, marriage, and addiction.

In addition to his clinical practice, he has been an instructor of psychology and adolescent development on a university level. Jeff specializes in working with individuals and families struggling with sexual addiction.

Dr. Donald Hilton

Dr. Donald Hilton

Donald L. Hilton, Jr. M.D. graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Lamar University, and cum laude with a medical degree from the University of Texas, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He was trained as a neurosurgeon at the University of Tennessee, and is a clinical associate professor of neurosurgery at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio.

Dr. Hilton speaks nationally and internationally in the field of minimally invasive spinal surgery, and has published book chapters, peer-reviewed journal papers, and developed techniques widely used in this subspecialty. He is currently listed in Best Doctors in America, and as a Texas Super Doctor and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.

Dr. Hilton also publishes and speaks on the subject of pornography and sexual addiction. He and his wife received the “Guardian of the Light” award from the anti-pornography organization Lighted Candle Society in 2008, where Dr. Hilton gave the keynote address, “Pornography and the Brain: Understanding the Addiction.” He authored the book He Restoreth My Soul, which explores the effects of pornography on the brain, along with spiritual paradigms of healing.

He and his wife, Jana, are the parents of five children and have three grandchildren.

Elder Michael Wilstead

Elder Michael Wilstead

Elder Michael S. and Denise Wilstead were married November 21, 1980 in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of four sons and grandparents to six grandchildren.

Elder Wilstead’s professional career has been spent in the Healthcare field where he is currently an operating partner at Cimarron Healthcare Capital. Over his profession he served as President and Chief Executive Officer for two global Healthcare companies.

In April 2018 Elder Wilstead was ordained a Seventy of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints and currently serves as an Area Seventy in the Utah Area. Elder Wilstead has severed in several church callings including, Patriarch, Mission President in the Bulgaria Sofia Mission presiding over the countries of Bulgaria and Turkey, Stake Presidency Counselor, Branch President, and numerous other callings with the youth which are his favorite service opportunities.

Elder Wilstead has a love for the youth and desires to continue to be part of the work of salvation. His greatest joy is watching their children, grandchildren, and those they serve live the gospel and feel the love of our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.
